In memory to the young man who gave his life protecting sea turtles.

The paradise-like beaches of Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast often hide darker secrets beneath the surface. Jairo Mora was an environmentalist who worked out of Moin keeping track of leatherback turtles’ nesting habits. His scientific data was the only obstacle that kept a private multi-million dollar port project from industrializing the beach. When he was murdered, the official narrative blamed drug trafficking, but the environmentalist community had noticed this pattern in the past.

English subtitles coming soon.

An investigation into the economic and political conditions that surrounded the environmentalist’s murder.
